THE LADY - A proper woman never loses her composure, except of course when coming close to death.

THE GENTLEMEN - The kind gentleman does what is requested of him, even if he suspects danger is near.

THE UMBRELLA - Getting wet is never fun while on the job. Although, when a pupil challenges a professor that just may happen.

THE MERMAID - Dear mermaid, your beauty tempts all men and all men want to catch you.
LA ESCALERA
THE LADDER - Walk beneath a ladder and you will break the Holy Trinity, but if you are already broken it may not matter.
LA BOTELLA
THE BOTTLE - Dearest crow, you do so much and are regarded by so many as an evil black bird, but I know your secret. I will keep it safely stored in this bottle.
EL BARRIL
THE BARREL - You want me. I know this, but don’t you have another? Terrible lies are stored for you in this barrel.
EL ÁRBOL
THE TREE - What wondrous things a tree is capable of making! What I’ll make next is a doll with the purpose to control.
EL MELÓN
THE MELON - The bitter taste of a poor melon is something that can never fade from memory.
EL VALIENTE
THE BRAVE ONE - The brave one’s devotion can carry the world.
EL GORRITO
THE BONNET - A lovely bonnet for a lovely girl. Sit very still so I can tie the ribbons securely under your chin.
LA MUERTE
THE DEATH - Many of us spend our life avoiding death. Many others spend their life seeking death.
LA PERA
THE PEAR - A pear is gathered when fully ripe. When ready it snaps off easily from the tree.
LA BANDERA
THE FLAG - I can see your flag from here, but I don’t know where you belong.
EL BANDOLÓN
THE MANDOLIN - A mandolin is small in size but it emits a high pitch.
EL VIOLONCELLO
THE CELLO - A violin is easily carried, adored and played. A cello is massive in size but in the orchestra of life it is needed just the same.
LA GARZA
THE HERON - The heron sits by the water patiently awaiting its prey. Don’t get too close or you will be next.
EL PÁJARO
THE BIRD - Little bird! Little bird! I know you are hiding. Come out and play.
LA MANO
THE HAND - My hand leaves a mark. If you see the glow then it’s too late for you.
LA BOTA
THE BOOT - You have sent me running around in these heavy boots searching for you. Be sure, I will find you.
LA LUNA
THE MOON - There are men in this world that have been baptized by the moon.
EL COTORRO
THE PARROT - The bright parrot can say many things. Sometimes it says too much.
EL BORRACHO
THE DRUNK - Drunk with liquor or drunk with fear? Neither matters as the alleyways can sense when you are near.
EL NEGRITO
THE BLACK MAN - The dark-skinned man knows the true story of the pact made in the mountains.
EL CORAZÓN
THE HEART - So much heart can be put into ones work. Be sure that it was all worth your time.
LA SANDÍA
THE WATERMELON - I will erase your worries my dear. There will be plenty of watermelons for you today.
EL TAMBOR
THE DRUM - The drums echo a past purposefully hidden.
EL CAMARÓN
THE SHRIMP - The little man, the one they bring gifts of shrimp, is a saint to many.
LAS JARAS
THE ARROWS - That place where you shot arrows is now home to terrible sorrow.
EL MÚSICO
THE MUSICIAN - I’ll sing you a story if you’re ready to listen.

THE SPIDER - Sometimes I forget that I fear spiders because I fear you much more.
EL SOLDADO
THE SOLDIER - Even the soldier sometimes fails to protect.

THE STAR - No matter where you hide the moon will find you.

THE LADLE - I make the tastiest of soups to watch my figure and abide by the most natural of treatments to keep my youthful skin.

THE WORLD - If you want the world you just need to have the right tools.

THE APACHE - Legends and lore are dusted across the great mountains.

THE CACTUS - These lines i have drawn you were brought to me in visions extracted by the great cactus.

THE SCORPION - Young boy your face is covered but you know where the witch can be found.

THE ROSE - A rose of the underworld is a rose like no other.

THE WATER PITCHER - I am parched. The desert will kill me. Please hand me the water pitcher.

THE DEER - The lovely deer lives in peace here. Those who disturb it are bound to be damned.
EL SOL
THE SUN - A man who loves the sun loves women as equally.
LA CORONA
THE CROWN - You are men of a single crown. Show your allegiance.

THE CANOE - Come aboard my canoe dear one and I will whisk you away to the Island of the dolls.
EL PINO
THE PINE - The smell of pine can be as strong as the smell of blood.
EL PESCADO
THE FISH - That little fish you seek is much larger than imagined.
LA PALMA
THE PALM - Palm leaves are one of the oldest materials used for writing. Beware, not all written words are safe.
LA MACETA
THE FLOWERPOT - I smell your flowers. I am coming for you.
EL ARPA
THE HARP - As you pluck the harp strings do not cry. I will cry for you.
LA RANA
THE FROG - If you kiss a frog it will turn into a prince. If you stab a frog it will kill your princess.
